The Kingfisher Poseidon Roepstok is a heavy-action graphite rod without guides. Internationally, the Roepstok is known as an “Interline” rod as the nylon or braid line, normally 100lb braid, runs through the inside of the rod.
This rod is specifically used in the Artlure facet of fishing – Anglers shake the tip of the rod in the water to attract the barbel and then they release a sinking allure into the area they have stirred up. This is a great, exciting way of fishing and produces some excellent fish for those who want to try something different.
The rod is designed to be used with a multiplying reel like the Daiwa SL30SH or SL50SH. The Roepstok is a 12’6″ and is a telescopic 3-piece rod constructed from top-end graphite.
